The Software Engineer role
You will be part of the GeoAnalytics & Visualization team that develops state of the art visualizations and geographic features in Qlik. We provide worldclass visualizations as well as advanced analytics features. We are looking for a full stack developer; We work with programming languages such as Go, Java and TypeScript and build software with a micro-service architecture with a modern development stack, including Docker, Helm etc.

Collaborate with other development team members and teams on all aspects of the process including design, implementation, testing, and documentation.

Here’s How You’ll Be Making An Impact
Play a key role in the development of cloud services, visualizations and geographically related features
Grow with an engaged, tight knit team with a lot of responsibility and influence
Ensure that deliverables meet requirements and recommend alternatives where appropriate. Communicate and collaborate with developers and architects across the global organization
We’re Looking For a Teammate With
Skill with Java, TypeScript, or Node.js, and bonus pints for Git, JIRA, GitHub Actions, React
Working knowledge and experience working with Docker in an Agile environment, ideally having developed in the cloud, including monitoring and troubleshooting
Experience in a SaaS commercial setting; able to articulate current status, blocking issues, and task estimates; collaborating with the team and also delivering on individual tasks
Bachelor degree in Computer Science (or similar)
A genuine interest in software engineering, learning, growth and taking responsibility and initiative
Excellent verbal and written English skills as the company language is English
Previous experience of working with map or geographic analysis software is a plus
