Senior Frontend Engineer

At Kivra, we are building services that connect almost 6 million people, by providing a safe and accessible digital infrastructure that everyone in Sweden can trust and use. At the same time, we are saving trees - reducing the paper that is printed and transported - by providing a better digital alternative to physical paper communication.
What you’ll do
You will develop, architect and scale Kivra’s Frontend infrastructure for the various web applications. You’ll also be a key person for both the frontend as well as the product teams, assisting them in achieving their goals with a big focus on the web platform. A big part of your work will be to maintain and further develop the Frontend infrastructure with focus on scalability, security and accessibility. You will drive development initiatives as well as assist other developers when needed.
Moreover, we believe that you will:
Develop and maintain functionality for the product teams.
Take ownership of Kivra’s web platform
Create services designed for long-term sustainability.
Take ownership of the web platform, including hosting, testing, code quality, and developer experience (DX).
Always seek to improve and innovate on the status quo.
Have a strong focus on developer experience.
Demonstrate proficiency in coding beyond JavaScript/TypeScript, including but not limited to languages such as SQL, Terraform, nginx, go, etc.

Your work experience and skills

Good knowledge of CSS and HTML.
Excellent knowledge of React.
Excellent knowledge of Javascript and Typescript.
Familiarity with accessibility.
Strong skills in testing.
Good knowledge of HTTP and network infrastructure.
Proficient in agile methodologies.
Master's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
