Lead Fullstack Developer (Flutter/Node)

About BallersApp:
Ballers app is a professional-level football training and community app helping aspiring football players achieve their full potential to become the best player they can possibly be. Boasting over 60,000 users, including 45,000 active monthly, we've recently secured a seed round of 10M SEK to advance our mission.
Our app, primarily developed in Flutter, provides a dynamic platform with over 2,500 video sessions from top coaches, gamification elements, and a community where players can connect, compete, and grow. With a user rating of 4.8/5, BallersApp offers you the opportunity to contribute to a product cherished by many.
The team of 10 is passionate about our mission to provide every young football talent access to the best support and training, regardless of their location worldwide.
Our founder Hamid Kabodvand, comes from a long background in the football industry, as a former sports director and founder of AFC Eskilstuna, individual football coach, football agent for Nordic Sky Agency and founder of HK Football Academy.
About the Role
You will take a big part of making our product awesome and scalable, and will be working alongside our CTO Paul Wilkinson, a veteran who's contributed to iconic games like The Sims and SimCity, to name a few.
Some things you'll be working with:
Enhancing product features and user experience for players, coaches, and clubs using Flutter and Node.js.
Integrating AI tools to customize training programs for individual players, pushing the boundaries of personalized coaching.
Developing innovative tools for football clubs to foster player development through BallersApp, expanding our impact within the sports community.
Identifying and resolving technical issues to ensure a seamless user experience across our platform.
Keeping up-to-date with the latest technology trends and tools, integrating them into our development process to enhance product performance and scalability.
Collaborating closely with Paul and the rest of the tea to brainstorm, design, and deploy new features, directly contributing to the strategic direction and growth of BallersApp.
Who You Are
Some years of experience in Flutter/Dart and Node.js.
Familiar with AWS or other cloud services is a big plus.
A background in app development, preferably in gamification and social networks/communities.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal
Passionate about startup environments, eager for significant ownership, and creative freedom.

Workplace model: We embrace a hybrid workplace model
Work form: Full-time employment with stock options, but we are open to start with a consultancy arrangement.
